WHAT IS PYREGEN?

PyRegen is a python based software for the analysis of regenerative cooling in rocket engine combustion chambers and nozzles. It features a corrected 1D heat equation model, allowing for accurate and very fast analysis. This, combined with the ease of program input - No Input Files, just a GUI - allows you to run multiple simulations in a very short window, and get a sense of the right configuration.

PyRegen v1.0

PyRegen v1.0 is the free, open-source version of PyRegen.

The software features:

  • CEA Analysis of combustion and expansion

  • Nozzle wall contour generation

  • Easy Input & GUI

PyRegen v1.0 is distributed and operated under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL) 3.0 . You are free to use, modify and distribute the software, provided that any derivative works are shared under the same license.
